About Us

"A Team Above All - Above All, A Team"

A bit more about Our Equestrian Center

Aureliano Equestrian is a family-owned and operated equestrian center with a legacy spanning more than 30 years on Long Island. Founded by Jill Aureliano—whose vision and dedication began as Hunters Grove—our story is woven with the passion and teamwork of the entire Aureliano family.

From early days building her first farm alongside her husband Tony, Jill’s commitment inspired their daughters, Brittany, Alexa, and Alaina, each of whom found their own path in the show ring. As Alexa and Alaina grew more competitive, the family’s love for horses only deepened. Together, the Aurelianos shaped what is now Aureliano Equestrian: a vibrant community on a beautiful 18-acre farm in Old Brookville.

Today, Jill, Tony, Brittany, Alexa, and Alaina welcome every rider as part of the family. We are proud to offer exceptional horse care and a supportive environment for students at all levels—from pleasure riders to those striving to compete at premier national shows. Our experienced trainers are dedicated to continual learning and excellence, guiding students in Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation disciplines.

At Aureliano Equestrian, we believe true horsemanship is about more than riding. We empower our students to become accomplished, respectful, and well-rounded equestrians—carrying on a family tradition that will inspire generations to come.

Jill

Jill has been a professional hunter/jumper trainer and instructor for over three decades, bringing a wealth of experience to riders and young horses alike. She began teaching in 1990 and has been developing and starting young horses since 1994, with a particular passion for producing quality Hunter-ring prospects.

As the founder of Hunters Grove, a successful show and sales program, Jill produced winners from the in-hand divisions at premier venues like Devon to young hunters competing at major circuits including WEF, Ocala and HITS New York. Over the years, she has guided many riders and their own horses to tricolors and year-end awards, emphasizing correct basics, confidence and polish in the show ring.

Jill is a USEF Registered R judge in Hunter Breeding and a USEF recorded r judge in Hunters and Equitation, credentials that reflect her eye for conformation, movement and performance quality. Her goal at Aureliano Equestrian is to continue developing and matching top young hunter “stars” with riders, helping each partnership reach its full potential in and out of the show ring.

Brittany

Brittany Aureliano has been riding for over two decades, beginning her hunter/jumper career as a child under the guidance of her mother, professional trainer and USEF judge Jill Aureliano. As a junior, she piloted countless young ponies and horses in the hunter divisions at local and major competitions across the East Coast, gaining a deep foundation in producing show-ring partners.

After graduating from college in 2014, Brittany turned professional, stepping into the roles of trainer, instructor and competitor. She continues to work closely with Jill while also bringing her own perspective through coaching IEA teams, directing and teaching summer camp and horsemanship programs, and guiding riders at a wide range of shows.

Today Brittany trains beginner through advanced students, develops young horses, and competes at local and major rated shows year-round. Her program emphasizes correct basics, confidence and thoughtful preparation so that each horse-and-rider pair can progress safely and successfully

In addition to her work in the ring, Brittany is a certified strength and nutrition coach and the founder of The Equestrian Strength Coach. She works with equestrians both in person and online, using fitness and performance principles to help riders become stronger, more balanced and more effective in the saddle.

Alexa

Alexa has been part of the Aureliano Equestrian family program virtually her entire life, starting in the saddle alongside Jill and Brittany at just two years old. As a junior rider she went on to earn multiple national championships, establishing herself as a polished and competitive presence in the hunter and equitation rings.

She currently rides for the University of South Carolina on the Division I Equestrian Team, balancing her commitments as a student‑athlete with a robust show schedule. Competing on a top collegiate program has further sharpened her skills in both flat and over‑fences competition, as well as her ability to perform under pressure at major meets.

Looking ahead, Alexa plans to continue showing at a high level while stepping into a mentoring role for the next generation of riders. Her goal is to help young equestrians navigate both their collegiate opportunities and their riding careers, drawing on her own experience in national-level junior competition and Division I athletics.
